Please complete our puppy application to be considered for our waiting list for an upcoming litter. Please answer the questions carefully and in detail as your answers help us determine which puppy might be the best fit for your family.

All information is confidential and will not be shared. It will be used as a screening tool to properly place our precious puppies.

To ensure the well-being of our puppies, we maintain sole discretion in determining the suitability of a particular home and/or individual(s) for a Leonberger. In addition, getting on the wait list does not guarantee that you will get a puppy from our next litter. All is dependent upon the size and gender distribution of the litter, and number of prospective parents on the wait list.

How did you learn about the Leonberger breed? If you currently own or previously owned a Leonberger, please list the Breeder/Kennel name where you got the dog from.

Why do you want a Leonberger puppy?

Are you planning on taking your puppy through a formal training program?

Describe your plan to socialize your Leonberger?

Do you have specific training goals for your puppy (agility, carting, water work, obedience, etc.)?

Have you ever earned a title on a dog (i.e. conformation, obedience, rally, agility, water rescue, drafting, etc)?

What is your family’s ideal Leonberger (personality)? Please detail this as best as possible, this is a reference when matching puppies with families.

Do you have a gender preference? If yes, why?

Do you have any intention of conformation showing or breeding this puppy? If yes, what prior experience do you have with showing/breeding dogs?

Would you be open to leaving the dog intact and allowing us to possibly breed it in the future?
